V. VIJAY BHASKAR
President & CEO
V. Vijay Bhaskar (Vijay to his colleagues) is one of the founders of Approgence Technologies Inc. He plays a key role in defining the company strategy, policy, provides leadership, and responsible for the entire global operations. Vijay is a visionary with over 18 years of global IT services experience. He is a high integrity, passionate and energetic leader with a good track record in strategic planning and has a demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot critical business issues.
Prior to joining Approgence, Vijay spent over 8 years in Rapidigm Inc., (now a Fujitsu Consulting Company), where he held several senior management positions. Based in Irvine, CA, he was responsible in building the IT consulting and Professional Services practice for the Southern California region. Vijay has worked in the capacity of Technical Director, Resource Director, and Senior Sales Manager-Strategic Accounts for Business Intelligence and ERP practice. He has extensive experience in setting up operations, managing P&L and establishing core processes for a business unit that generated over $25 million in revenue. Prior to joining Rapidigm in 1998, he worked in the capacity of Vice President-Consulting with Mindware/PCL (now Mindteck), a Bangalore based global IT consulting firm. He was responsible for setting up and leading the Asia Pacific operations in Singapore. He was also responsible for setting up the offshore development center for Mindware/PCL in Bangalore. Vijay has had extensive international exposure in the course of his assignments in Germany, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. He also worked as Regional Sales Manager for Pertech Computers Ltd (a DELL reseller) during 1988-1992 in India.
Vijay holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India and MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, India.

Dr. Narasimhan is currently the founding Chief
Technology Officer of Voxiva, Inc. - a leading global
provider of practical information solutions to strengthen
health care systems, enhance safety and improve government
service delivery. Voxiva's clients include health agencies
in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the United States. He
was previously the founding Chief Technology Officer of j2
Global Communications, one of the world's largest unified
messaging service provider (EFAX, JFAX, Nasdaq: JCOM).
Prior to j2, he was at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research
Center in New York. He has numerous patents and
publications in the fields of wireless communications and
various applications of Information Technology. He has
advised many global organizations on various aspects of
technology, markets and strategy.
He is actively involved with the Grameen Foundation,
focused on improving access to microfinance solutions to
end poverty. He is also the founder of the Simha
Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on the
improvement of educational programs in disenfranchised
communities.
He has a MS in Electrical Engineering from University
of Rhode Island. He also holds a MS in Mathematics and
PhD. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer.
KUMAR NARAYANAN
Kumar Narayanan is currently the General Manager for Manufacturing & Distribution Industry, Technology Solution Group, Asia Pacific and Japan, at Hewlett Packard. Kumar Narayanan has over 18 years of sales, management and consulting experience. He currently leads the Enterprise Sales & Consulting team in the Manufacturing and Distribution Industry for the APJ market at HP. He is an industry expert with extensive experience in Strategic sourcing and procurement, Business process reengineering, Logistics & transportation. He has extensive consulting experience in the automotive, and hi-technology industries, and has serviced blue-chip clients such as Toyota, General Motors, Volkswagen, Canon, Samsung, Sharp and Agilent Technologies. He is also a subject matter expert in Supply Chain Management having involved in several SAP and Oracle implementations, globally.
Prior to joining HP he was at IBM, as the Principal, Automotive Practice, USA.
Kumar Narayanan is listed in Who’s who. He is an honorary member of the National Association of Automotive Engineering (NAAE) and a lifetime member of the SAE. Kumar holds a M.S., in Computer Science, University of Minnesota and a M.S., in Industrial Engineering, University of Alabama.
